A college with a missionary zeal
SAI COLLEGE OF EDUCATION, JADLA (NAWANSHAHR) was founded in 2004. To fill the great dream of late Smt. Wiran wali Johar and her Husband late Sh. Arjan Dass Johar, “Sai Wiran wali Educational Trust, Jadla (Nawanshahr)” was formed in the year 2001. This Educational trust is looking forward with a visionary look to go in for the cause of education & in other disciplanes as well.
“SAI COLLEGE OF EDUCATION, JADLA (NAWANSHAHR)” is on the main National Highway from Chandigarh to Jalandhar near Nawanshahr. This is a B.Ed. Co-Education college with intial strength of 100 students. This college is affiliated to Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar & approved by N.C.T.E. (National Council for Teacher Education, Jaipur. a statuoury body formed under the act by the Parliament). The institution has sufficient accomodation with vast open space and latest devices to bring competance in Teaching process. To mention a few: Micro-Teaching (Communication) lab, a unique feature added to the college working scheme. This is specially designed and fitted with automatic cameras with the facility to record and reproduce to be evaluated by the indiviual student or the examiner. Library system is Partially-Automated.
Keeping in view the objectives of this college, all efforts are being made to develop teaching competence besides many other qualities among teacher traniees. Various bodies such as NSS unit, Science Club, Youth Club etc. conduct various activities for the all round development of teacher traniees.
The management is determined to create the academic atmosphere in the surrounding locality to bring a positive change in the outlook of people. It is the misionary zeal with which they are working and their motive is to serve the society.
